Srinagar: A gunfight erupted between armed forces and militants in Brath village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Reports said that the joint teams of army’s 22RR and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs the presence of militants.
A police official said that the hiding militants fired upon the armed forces triggering a gunfight.
