Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday said that top Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Munna Lahori,who is a Pakistani was killed in the Shopian gunfight. The police added that the other militant killed was his local associate.
In a tweet, police said:
Update. Top most Jaish commander of South Kashmir Munna Lahori/Bihari from Pakistan killed along with his local associate after a night long operation. https://t.co/Qn3svAvTdL

In another tweet, cops said that Munna was know for making IEDs and was responsible for a series of civilian killings.
