Srinagar: A minor boy and a CRFP personnel was killed after militants attacked paramilitary forces in Bijbhera area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday afternoon.
Initial reports suggest that the attacked was aimed on 90 battalion CRPF near Padshae Bagh this afternoon.
The minor boy Nihaan Bhat son of Mohammad Yaseen Bhat of Machoo, Kulgam suffered critical injuries, and was moved to the hospital but succumbed.
A CRPF personnel identified as Shymal Kumar has also been killed.
An official said that injured persons were shifted to SDH Bijbehara for treatment where the minor boy breathed his last after doctors tried their best to save him.
Block Medical Officer (BMO) SDH Bijbehara Dr Muhammad Iqbal confirmed that a CRPF man and a minor boy succumbed at the hospital.
