Srinagar: Army on Saturday said that two militants were killed during an ambush along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An Army spokesman in a statement said after detecting a suspicious movement at Naugam sector along the Line of Control, army launched an ambush, resulting in killing of two militants.
“Two AK-47 and war like stores were recovered and further details will follow,” he said.
The spokesman added that operation took place in Naugam Sector in Handwara, north Kashmir in Kupwara district.
