23 armed forces personnel, doctor among 569 COVID cases reported in 24 hours in JK, tally reaches 83,633

Srinagar: Twenty-three armed forces personnel and a doctor were among 569 new novel coronavirus cases reported in last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total count to 83, 633.

Among the cases, 207 were confirmed from Jammu division and 362 from Kashmir Valley. The erstwhile state also reported 09 COVID deaths- 05 from Jammu division and 04 from Kashmir in the last 24 hours.

Moreover, 890 more COVID patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 460 from Jammu division and 430 from Kashmir.

According to the daily media bulletin on COVID, out of 83633 positive cases, 10466  are Active Positive, 71845 have recovered and 1322 have died; 429 in Jammu division and 893 in Kashmir.

It further informed that out of 18,39,765 test results available, 17,56,132 samples have been tested as negative till October 11, 2020.

Till date 61,27,41 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 24,6,68 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 10466 in isolation and 48306 in home surveillance. Besides, 527979 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Giving district wise details of the cases, official sources said that Srinagar reported 147, Budgam 48, Baramulla 42, Pulwama 23, Kupwara 20, Anantnag 35, Bandipora 12, Ganderbal 20, Kulgam 10, Shopian 5, Jammu 108, Rajouri 6, Udhampur 12, Doda 4, Kathua 11, Poonch 24, Samba 11, Kishtwar 5, Ramban 12 and Reasi 14.
