Anantnag: A military operation against militants has started in Sangam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday morning, police said.
An official said that during the operation at Gund Baba Khaleel area of Sangam in Anantnag, one local militant was arrested in injured condition. They identified him as Zaheer Abbas lone, resident of Pulwama, who, according to officials, was later shifted to hospital for treatment.
