Shopian: The second militant has been killed on the third day of the military operation against militants at Rawalpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian on Monday.

Police officials said that the exchange of fire resumed today morning after a lull of more than 24 hours and another militant has been killed. So far, two militants have been killed and the operation is still going on.
The officials further said that the operation has entered into the third day.
The operation began after a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Rawalpora.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, ensuing the operation.
