Late night blaze damages four shops in south Kashmir’s Pampore

Pampore: Four shops were gutted in a blaze late last night in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, locals said.

 

Locals told Free Press Kashmir that four shops caught fire during the night resulting in complete damage to three shops and another was partially damaged.

They said property worth lakhs was destroyed in the devastating fire. However, the cause of the fire was not known yet.

The incident took place at Kadlabal Moad in Pampore and the shops belonged to Showkat Raja, who was running a crockery store, Hardware store of Bilal Ahmed Rather, Photography lab of Ishtiyaq Ahmed and wholesale Kiryana store which was partially damaged of Manzoor Ahmed Mir.

No loss of life was reported in the fire incident, locals said.
