Official sources told that two army soldiers were also injured and were shifted to 92 Base hospital for treatment.

Two more militants were killed in an overnight military operation at Semthan Bijbhera area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS) that two militants have been killed in the military operation which started late Saturday afternoon.

“The duo was responsible for the killing of Army jawan and were neutralized within two days,” IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said.

The TA soldier, Mohammad Saleem Akhoon son of Ghulam Hassan Akhoon of Bijbhera was killed near native village on 9 April.
