Pulwama: Two unidentified militants were killed in an overnight military operation in Pulwama town in south Kashmir district on Wednesday.

Police officials said that two militants were killed after forces had laid siege around Pulwama town during nocturnal hours after having specific information about the presence of some militants.
However, the identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Officials further said that as the joint team of forces moved towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants started firing on them ensuing the operation.
