Bandipora: A military operation against militants has started in Chandaji area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.

Reports said that a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Chandanji.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the them triggering the operation.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of firing between militants and armed forces.
