Srinagar: An armed forces personnel was injured on Saturday evening after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards armed forces party in Sanantnagar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Confirming the incident, a police officer said that the grenade was lobbed by militants at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the city’s Sanantnagar area.
In the incident, a CRPF personnel received minor injuries. The injured armed forces personnel was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, armed forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been launched. (GNS)
