Jammu: Warning National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leadership to stop looking towards China, Pakistan and Taliban, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), general secretary and in charge JK and Ladakh, Tarun Chug today said Kashmir belongs to India, was of India and will continue to be part of India.
Those talking about Taliban, China, and Pakistan are daydreaming like “Mungeri Lal key Haseen Supnay,, Chug said while talking to reporters during a party programme at Trikuta Nagar today.
He said that it is modern Bharat (India) of Narendra Modi and they have shown it in the past that those who tried to harm them were not spared by India and those who will try to do it in future will too meet the same fate, Daily Excelsior reported.
Chug said Midi Government has adopted a strict policy in this regard that “Chhaido Gey To Chhodain Gey Nahi”. Earlier they (Pakistan) tried to inflict injuries on us but we gave a befitting reply to them, he added.
The report quoting Chug said people of JK are now dissociating themselves from the narrative created by regional parties.
The BJP leader said that regional parties can’t give a good leader to JK but a good leader will emerge from the democratic process started by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
Accusing both NC and PDP of misleading youth of Kashmir who took to arms, he said Kashmiris now want progress and development.
“The militancy should be replaced by tourism now Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba handed over grenades to the youth of Kashmir but instead of grenades they need a mouse for computers. The youth of Kashmir don’t need AK -47 now but I Pads, they need progress and development,” he was quoted as saying.
