In the aftermath of increasing attacks on Muslims in India, particularly the recent police action against landless Muslims in Assam, a new hashtag calling for a boycott of Indian products is trending in various Arab countries, Tahir Media reported.
Under the hashtag #مقاطعة_المنتجات_الهندية (#Boycott_Indian_Products), several Arab social media users shared a video clip of Moinul Haque who was killed by the police officers in Assam and having his body stomped on by a photographer.

They also drew attention to atrocities perpetrated by Hindutva groups in the country against Muslims, Christians and other minorities.
Many Arab influencers have posted videos urging people to join a social media campaign against violence against Muslims in India.
Meanwhile, the hashtag ‘India Kills Muslims’ also trended.
Several Arab leaders, intellectuals, and influencers have also shown their support towards the call for a boycott of Indian products.
