Srinagar: A militant has been killed in a military operation that started late evening in Bemina of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thrusday, police said.
News agency GNS reported that a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Bemina.
Kashmir Police Zone on its official Twitter handle wrote that a militant was also killed during the military operation. The identity of the militant is yet to be ascertained.

As per police, an AK rifle alongwith ammunition was also recovered from the spot. Further details are awaited.
