Kulgam: Two militants were killed in a military operation in gopalpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, police said.
This is the second military operation started in the past hour in the region. Earlier, a military operation was started in Pombai area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources said that a joint team of Army, CRPF and Police launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in gopalpora village of Kulgam.
“The contact was established with the hiding militants after forces cordoned off the area,” they said.
