Kulgam: Three militants have been killed in a military operation in Mirhama area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, an official said.

Police officials said that three militants have been killed in the military operation. However, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, police said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Mirhama area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
