Anantnag: One among the armed forces personnel who were injured during a military operation in Shahabad Dooru area of Anantnag succumbed on Thursday morning, police said.
The military operation, which started last night, also saw the killing of three militants of Jash-e-Mohammad, according to police.
“One of the armed forces personnel injured in the Dooru operation has succumbed to injures,” a senior police officer to Global News Service, adding, “Three other injured personnel are under treatment”.
Earlier, police said that six JeM militants were killed in two overnight military operations in south Kashmir- Kulgam, and Anantnag.
While three militants were killed in Dooru Anantnag and the same number of militants were killed in Mirhama area of Kulgam.
