Kerala: Bhartiya Janta Party members in Kerala on Tuesday raised murderous slogans against the state’s Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan during a public rally in Kodungallur.

In a live Facebook video that was posted by BJP’s state spokesperson, Sandeep Vachaspati, the members can be heard saying, “we will butcher Pinarayi Vijayan and feed him to dogs” in the Malayalam language.

The rally was organised to commemorate BJP’s municipal area secretary and Yuvamorcha head, Kothaparambu Arayamparambil Sathyesh who was killed in 2006.

Last month, more than two dozen BJP members were booked by the police for raising hate speech at a public rally in state’s Kannur area.

Visuals of the incident show several functionaries of the youth wing of the BJP taking out a march in Kannur, and threatening the Muslim community in the area by claiming that no more ‘azaan’ or call to prayer would be heard there anymore.

The march was held by the Yuva Morcha functionaries on the 21st death anniversary of KT Jayakrishnan, an office bearer of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and a teacher at a school in Mokeri in Kannur.

Jayakrishnan was killed in 1999. During the rally, the Yuva Morcha workers raised slogans that there won’t be any mosques left in the area to do ‘azaan’ or hold prayers anymore.
