JeM militant associate arrested in Pulwama, ammo recovered: Police

Pulwama: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Rohmoo area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

In a statement, the police spokesman said that today a joint CASO was launched by Pulwama Police, 53 RR and CRPF 183 Bn, one militant associate of JeM namely Irfan Yousuf Dar, son of Mohd Yousuf Dar, a resident of Rohmoo Pulwama has been arrested, from whose possession one AK rifle, one magazine and 30 rounds of ammunition have been recovered.

To this effect, a case FIR number 13/2022 under relevant sections of law has been lodged at Police Station Rajpora and investigation has been started, the statement ends.
