Srinagar: Three military operations against militants are underway in Kashmir and four militants have been killed so far, police said on Saturday.
The operation began in the three locations- Ganderbal, Pulwama and Handwara- on Friday night after armed forces received specific information about the presence of militants in the said areas and subsequently, the operations were launched.
In Pulwama, two militants have been killed and their identity is yet to be ascertained as the operation is still underway. One militant was killed in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal and one in north Kashmir’s Handwara and their identification is also being ascertained, police said.
