Baramulla: A military operation against militants has started in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said.
Police officials said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Najibhat crossing in Kreeri area of Baramulla following input about the presence of militants
A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of firing between militants and armed forces.
When reports last came, the firing was going on from both sides, however, there was no casualty reported.
