Awantipora: Two militants of Lashkar-i-Taiba outfit were killed in an overnight military operation in Aganhanzipora area of south Kashmir’s Awantipora on Friday, officials said.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that both LeT militants who were involved in killing artist and social media influencer Ambreen bhat have been killed in Awantipora.
In a tweet while quoting IGP Kashmir, the Kashmir Police Zone wrote, ” Both killed newly joined local militants identified as Shahid Mushtaq Bhat R/O Hafroo Chadoora Budgam & Farhan Habib R/O Hakripora Pulwama. They had killed TV artist on the instruction of LeT Cmdr Lateef. 01 AK 56 rifle, 4 magazines and a pistol recovered,”.
