‘Says move a voluntary, awareness’

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, P K Pole on Saturday said that “Har Ghar Tiranga” is totally a voluntary movement and there is no compulsion and insistence in it.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here, P K Pole said that this movement is totally on a voluntary basis and there won’t be any kind of compulsion in it.

“All those citizens who want to unfurl the Tiranga in their homes or on their shops by following the flag code between August 14 and August 15 are welcome and tricolor will be given to them at a reasonable cost,” he said.

He added that there will be no compulsion in it, as this movement is totally on a voluntary, appeal, and awareness basis.

“But only one thing will have to be kept in mind is that proper flag code is followed by those who want to unfurl the Tricolour in their homes or at their shops. They will be sensitized about the same,” he said. (KNO)
