Ganderbal: A 25-year-old woman died after drowning in a power canal in her native village at Gutlibagh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on late Friday evening.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer that the woman identified as Shagufta had drowned in a power Canal in her native village.
He said that the body of the woman was retrieved from the power canal by SDRF team late last night after hectic efforts. Meanwhile, investigations in this regard have been taken by the authorities.
