Expert committee to evaluate ‘Child Law and Juvenile Justice’ paper: KU

Srinagar: Following the allegations of out of syllabus ‘Child Law and Juvenile Justice’ paper of B A LLB 10th semester, the University of Kashmir (KU) has said that it will get the paper evaluated by an expert committee.

In a statement, KU said, “Some examinees of B A LLB 10th semester have claimed that their examination paper of ‘Child Law and Juvenile Justice’ which was held on September 24, 2022, was allegedly out of syllabus.”

“As per the Standard Operating Procedure to be followed in such cases, the said question paper will be sent for evaluation by an expert committee to ascertain the genuineness of the claims of the examinees, in a time-bound manner,” the statement said.

It also said that further course of action will be taken only after the expert opinion is received.

“Students are advised to stay assured that appropriate justice will be done with them to safeguard their examination prospects,” reads the KU statement.
