Pulwama: A military operation against militants has started in Khandipora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
In a tweet Kashmir Zone Police wrote, ” Encounter started at Khandipora, Awantipora area of Pulwama district. Awantipora Police & Army (55 RR) are on the job. Further details shall follow,”.
Pertinently, another operation against militants is underway in Simthan area of Bijbhera in Anantnag district.
