WWE, world’s largest pro-wrestling company, sold to Saudi Arabian Fund: Report

The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia reportedly purchased World Wrestling Enternatinment (WWE), the biggest professional wrestling organisation in the world.

Less than a week after her father, Vince McMahon, came out of retirement and assumed the position of chairman of the board, this event occurred hours after Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation as chairperson and co-CEO.

Ever since McMahon came out of retirement, there have been discussions of selling WWE. When McMahon declared that the business was getting ready to pursue “strategic alternatives” in order to “maximise value for all WWE stockholders” shortly after taking the helm, he made his intentions clear.

His comment caused a stir, and many people believed that WWE would soon be sold.

It should be emphasised that there hasn’t been an official announcement yet.
