New Delhi: Donald Lu, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian affairs, in an interview with news channel NTDVstated that India and the US are on track to be two of the largest and most important trading partners in the world.

He claimed that when it comes to Chinese aggression along India’s border, the US has not seen China act in good faith.

In an interview with NTDV, he stated that US Secretary of State Antony John Blinken will visit India in March for the G20 meeting of foreign ministers and the global conference Raisina Dialogue, which is being hosted by an Indian policy think tank.

Ajit Doval, India’s NSA, will visit the US in two weeks to discuss important and developing technologies, he continued.

The US has been clear about its attitude toward China and India for a long time, according to Donald Lu, who reaffirmed that the border dispute should be settled bilaterally. However, he emphasised that China has not made genuine efforts to address the problem.

Regarding the transfer of military technology, Mr. Lu stated that 30 of the most sophisticated predator armed drones, the MQ9B, which the US has not yet shared with many nations, are about to be purchased by India.
