Shopian: A minor was allegedly raped and impregnated by her brother-in-law in Zampathri area of Shopian district in south Kashmir.
According to reports, the 13-year-old was allegedly impregnated by her brother-in-law, who later planned to kill the newborn, as per the complaint registered by the victim’s family.
In a video statement, the district police chief said that the relatives of the minor have registered a complaint. Subsequently, the accused was arrested under the relevant sections of the law.
