Jammu: Two sisters drowned in a canal in Digiana area of Jammu district late last evening, official said on Friday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer that two sisters, aged 3 and 5 years, went missing in Digiana area last evening, following which a search operation was launched.
He said that the joint operation was launched by National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force and Jammu police to retrieved their bodies.
