Sopore: A woman was prevented from committing suicide in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday evening. officials said.
An official said that the woman was spotted by cops attempting to jump into river Jhelum at bypass bridge in Sopore.
“After noticing her movement as doubtful, cops rushed towards her and foiled her suicidal attempt,” he said.
