Srinagar: man from Uttarakhand, currently residing in Srinagar, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a girl child while teaching her holy Quran.
Police said that the man identified as Hazafu Rehman, son of Abdul Basit, a resident of Udham Nagar Uttrakhand and currently residing in Gulberg colony sexually assaulted a small girl child while teaching Quran.
The accused was subsequently apprehended under FIR No 90/2023 under relevant sections of law stands. He is under custody of Sadar police station.
