Srinagar: Earthquake of magnitude 6.0 hit Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Thursday with tremors felt across Jammu and Kashmir.
According per initial reports, the quake occurred at 2:50 pm. However, there were no immediate reports of any damage or loss of life reported anywhere.
As per initial estimates the epicentre was recorded in Hindu Kush Region of Afghanistan. As per GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the epicenter, with a depth of 192.1 km, was initially determined to be at 36.52 degrees north latitude and 70.71 degrees east longitude.
