Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Sunday called a group of 40 women from JK who participated in Vande Bharatam Dance Festival at the January 26 event at Kartavya Path, New Delhi an inspiring example for youth.
A group of 40 female artists represented J&K at the ‘Vande Bharatam’, a cultural extravaganza celebrating the Nari Shakti, an official statement said. It added, during the grand parade, the women, through their vibrant and energetic performance, enthralled the audiences and brought out India’s diverse cultural and artistic heritage in the true spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
The Lt Governor congratulated the women for their talent and said, They are an inspiring example for youth.” On the occasion, the performers also shared their experiences.
