Cabinet minsters of India announced; list here

Modi taking oath as Prime Minister of India for the third time.

On Sunday, President of India Droupadi Murmu swore in Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term.

Modi, who previously led a BJP majority government for two terms, will now head a coalition government.

Along with Modi, 72 ministers were also sworn in. This marks Modi’s win in matching Jawaharlal Nehru, who won the general elections in 1952, 1957, and 1962.

Modi began his day by paying respects at Raj Ghat to Mahatma Gandhi, at Sadaiv Atal to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and at the National War Memorial to honour Indian Army.

Modi will oversee the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Space, all major policy issues, and any portfolios not assigned to other ministers.

The ministers sworn in include Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Jagan Prakash Nadda, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, S Jaishankar, Manohar Lal Khattar, HD Kumaraswamy, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh), Sarbananda Sonowal, Virendra Kumar, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Pralhad Joshi, Jual Oram, Giriraj Singh.
