Kathua: A military operation started against militants in Machhedi area of Kathua district on Monday.
Official sources said that a joint team of police and armed forces came under fire during searches in Machhedi area, which the forces retaliated triggering the operation.
Meanwhile, more reinforcement has been sent to the operation spot, they said. More details to follow. (GNS)
