Baramulla: The Baramulla police on Friday said that it uncovered a human trafficking operation in Ushkura area of the district. As per reports, a local resident was responsible for trafficking and exploiting minor girls from outside Jammu and Kashmir.
A case was registered at PS Baramulla under relevant legal provisions, baramulla police posted on X. A police team raided the accused’s residence and rescued four minor girls. The search was conducted in the presence of a magistrate and female police officers.
