Jammu: Army on Tuesday said that an infiltration bid was foiled while as an army personnel was also injured in Battal, Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.
Taking on to the micro-blogging platform X, army wrote, “Alert troops foiled an infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating terrorists with effective fire in the Battal Sector at 0300h.
During the exchange of heavy fire, one army personnel was injured and the operation is underway. (GNS)
