Sopore: An exchange of fire occurred between militants and armed forces in the Watergam area of north Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday afternoon.
Later in the day, officials said a body was found near the operation site, along with a weapon.
A top police officer said that in the ongoing operation a body along with weapon is being observed. However confirmation will be shared only after the body is being retrieved from the site.
Earlier police said that exchange of fire at Watergam area of Sopore.
