Baramulla: A grenade accidentally detonated inside the Malkhana Court Complex in Baramulla at around 1:5pm on October 24 (today), resulting in the injury of a police officer on duty. Authorities have confirmed that the situation is now under control.
The police official was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, police officials in a statement.
In response to circulating rumours, the police have urged the public to remain calm and not be swayed by misinformation. Further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accidental explosion.
