Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accompanied by his advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, inaugurated the CM’s public services and outreach Office today, introducing a platform aimed at grievance redressal and transparent governance.

Raabta, which means connection, is a grievance redressal system designed to bridge the gap between citizens and the government. The system integrates digital tools, including an online portal, a dedicated helpline, and periodic in-person interactions, ensuring accessibility for all.

Mudassar Shahmiri, political advisor to Chief Minister, has been appointed to lead the initiative. Shahmiri will listen to grievances and work toward their resolution, ensuring the system remains functional and citizen-oriented, said National Conference spokesperson Tanveer Sadiq.

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister toured the facility, reviewed its operations, and interacted with officers. He stressed the importance of communication and timely resolution of grievances, adding that Raabta is a step toward building public trust and improving governance.
