Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has announced that 98 water testing laboratories will be established across Jammu and Kashmir this year. This initiative aims to ensure safe drinking water and improve water quality monitoring.
The budget also includes free electricity for AAY families, free travel for women, increased marriage assistance for AAY girls, and the establishment of a National Law University.
On Friday, Omar presented the first budget of Jammu and Kashmir in six years and said it is a roadmap for economic growth and a true reflection of people’s aspirations.
