Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced 621 new posts in the Health & Medical Education Department.
Health Minister Sakina Itoo confirmed the development, stating that the move is in line with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to strengthen healthcare services across the Union Territory and empower the youth through job creation.
“These new positions will enhance the capacity of our medical institutions and ensure better service delivery to citizens,” said Minister Itoo.
Recruitment notifications will be issued shortly, with a transparent selection process to follow.
The online application process will open on August 5, and close on September 3.
The announcement has been welcomed by aspiring healthcare professionals and is seen as a much-needed boost to the healthcare infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir.
