New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday arrested a Faridabad resident for allegedly sheltering Dr Umar-un Nabi, the man who is accused of driving the explosive-laden car that detonated outside Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, killing 15 people.
The man, identified as Soyab from Dhauj in Haryana’s Faridabad district, is the seventh person taken into custody in connection with the case. The blast is linked to a “white-collar” terror module earlier uncovered by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The NIA said it is following multiple leads related to the suicide bombing and has been conducting coordinated searches across several states to identify and track others suspected of involvement in the attack.
