Modi, Rahul Gandhi among invitees to Telangana Rising Global Summit

The Telangana government on Sunday said it will invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8 and 9.

The event, to be held at Bharat Future City, will also see invitations sent to national and international delegates. According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will personally invite Modi, Rahul Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge. Union ministers, chief ministers, top industrialists, economists, sportspersons, media leaders, diplomats and experts from multiple sectors will also be asked to participate.

The government will set up an invitation committee headed by the Principal Secretary to manage the process. The panel will launch a dedicated website to track invitees, confirmations and hospitality arrangements. Principal Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh will coordinate the committee’s work, and the Chief Minister will monitor progress through a dashboard.

Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said about 4,500 invitations have already gone out, with roughly 1,000 confirmations so far.
