Srinagar: Flight operations at the Srinagar International Airport were disrupted on Friday after multiple IndiGo flights were cancelled because of operational issues, officials said.

An airport official said IndiGo had 18 flights scheduled for the day, but 10 were cancelled and several others were delayed. “We are receiving continuous queries regarding IndiGo’s operations. As of now, 10 flights stand cancelled,” the official said.

Initial reports suggest the cancellations are tied to IndiGo’s ongoing adjustments to comply with new DGCA safety guidelines. Crew shortages have also led to delays and cancellations at several airports nationwide this week.

Passengers have been advised to remain in contact with the airline for updated flight information.
