JK police seize properties of 5 Pakistan-based militants, issue proclamation against top LeT operative

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have attached the properties of five militants operating from Pakistan as part of the ongoing crackdown on terror networks, officials said on Thursday.

Sharing the details on X, J&K Police said Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat ordered the attachment of the properties as part of sustained action against terrorism and its support infrastructure.

In a separate action, police also secured proclamation proceedings against Mohd Qasim, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative currently operating from Pakistan.

Officials said Qasim’s property had already been seized in March 2026.
