In the latest incident, Israeli forces deployed a stun grenade during a military incursion in Nablus, Quds News Network reported Wednesday. The report did not immediately include details on whether anyone was injured or detained during the incident. Circumstances around the deployment of the stun grenade could not immediately be independently confirmed, nor did the Israeli military comment.
This incident takes place amidst continuing Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank — including Nablus and surrounding communities. Palestinian officials and media outlets have regularly reported, frequent searches, arrests and confrontations taking place during these incursions.
A stun grenade exploded as journalists filmed an Israeli armoured vehicle advancing down an alleyway in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, during an Israeli military operation, Al Jazeera reported.
Israeli forces have conducted other raids around the occupied territories in recent days, with Palestinian media reporting that soldiers had used concussion grenades and tear gas when they entered the village of Beit Fajjar, south of the city of Bethlehem. Residents there reportedly sustained inhalation injuries.
