The Palestine Dialogue Network, a Palestinian news group, reported that Israeli warplanes hit near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday, amid continued Israeli military operations throughout the territory even following a ceasefire.
The report could not be immediately independently verified, and there were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage. There was no immediate comment on the report from the Israeli army.
Kamal Adwan Hospital, located in the Gaza town of Beit Lahia, has been a symbol for many Palestinians as one aspect of the healthcare crisis in Gaza. In late 2024, the facility was severely damaged during an Israeli ground offensive and attacks following that have also struck the site.
Throughout Israel’s war in Gaza, Palestinian hospitals and medical facilities have often been impacted, putting the lives of patients, health workers and displaced families into further risk during recurring fighting and bombings.
